Friedhats - Ethopia Gora Kone
Making its return for a second season, is a favourite of ours from last season and it will be staying with us all the festive season and into the new year!
We are happy to have this coffee back from the Gora Kone washing station, which is located in the Arsi region of Ethiopia. It’s a collection of cherries from 700 - 800 smallholders who live in the area at around 1900 - 2050 masl. The cherries are fermented under water for about 2 days, before being washed, de-pulped and dried for 10 - 12 days.
Just like last year, it has a juicy body and a milk chocolate sweetness with notes of lime and black berry.
